Dental digital evaluation and manipulation training system is a combination of hardware and software, consisting of scanning system, computer system software system, laser color printer, and is applied to dental teaching evaluation. The system is based on digital technology and uses a non-contact scanning system to scan in three dimensions through the basic morphology preparation and simulated tooth preparation morphology. At the same time, it was compared with the standard tooth preparation morphology data to bring fair and objective evaluation results for the digital assessment of experimental teaching in dentistry. 

Evaluation principle:

This product adopts non-contact scanning method, based on coding structured light and high-definition binocular acquisition system for high-precision image acquisition and 3D model restoration. Coding structured light three-dimensional measurement technology is an active triangulation technology, the basic principle is to control the light source to the surface of the object to be measured to project light, light on the surface of the object to form a point, line, surface three kinds of shapes, can be captured by the imaging system, and then according to the calibration of the spatial direction and the position parameters obtained, the three-dimensional shape of the object in the space can be obtained by the use of triangulation principle. Based on the comparision of the obtained standard three-dimensional morphology with the three-dimensional morphology of the preparatory body, an objective data difference can be evaluated by computer analysis.
